Our core promise has always been simple: to make sure you never miss a renewal again.
But as we were getting ready to launch, our first users gave us a piece of brilliant feedback.
During our early testing, we heard one piece of feedback more than any other:
"I love this. Where can I find it on the App Store?"
It was a great compliment, but it also revealed a key piece of friction. You told us you wanted a faster, more permanent way to access your dashboard. You wanted the convenience of an app icon on your home screen.
We listened. And today, we're incredibly excited to deliver on that, but in a smarter, more modern way.
Introducing the new SubHound Progressive Web App (PWA).
What is a PWA?
A PWA is a website that has been given superpowers. It is a massive upgrade to our existing web app that gives you the best features of a native app, with the simplicity and security of the web.
This means you can now "install" SubHound directly to your phone's home screen or your computer's desktop. You get a real app icon, a full-screen experience.
All of this, without ever having to go through an App Store.
How to Install the SubHound "App" in 30 Seconds
This is the best part. There's no App Store to search, no big download to wait for. Here’s how to get the new app experience.
On Your Phone (iOS & Android):
Open your mobile browser (like Safari or Chrome) and go to app.subhound.com (once you are logged in)
Tap the "Share" icon.
Scroll down and tap the "Add to Home Screen" button.
That's it! You will now have the SubHound icon on your home screen. When you tap it, the app will open in a beautiful, full-screen window, ready to go.
Now, On Your Desktop (Chrome, Edge, etc.):
Go to app.subhound.com in your browser.
Look for a small "Install" icon in the address bar (it often looks like a screen with a downward arrow).
Click it and confirm.
SubHound will now be installed as a standalone application on your computer, accessible right from your dock or desktop.
